Life without a bright future is meaningless. We cannot, however, step into the future without making correct decisions. Such decisions need the kind of support that relies on appropriate conditions, up-to-date technology, and well-established scientific methodologies.

With this vision, The Decision Support and Future Studies Center (DSFS) was established in 2002 to act as an independent scientific consultancy unit in the Faulty of Computers and Information - Cairo University. DSFS is dedicated to enlighten and develop the social awareness about the value of efficient and effective decision making among all managerial levels.

DSFS, further, aims to participate in fulfilling the needs of the university, the society, and the country to improve their systems’ performance and to reach optimal alternatives in their decision making for a broad continuing development context.

DSFS offers its services – research, consultancy, and training – in a wide scope of expertise; decision support systems, future studies, project management, performance management, service management and engineering, e-governance, and e-government.
